Microsoft Dynamics NAV Commerce Gateway is a business-to-business (B2B) solution that opens up your Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution to electronic exchange of trading documents with other systems.
For example, you might want to exchange sales and purchase quote documents in addition to the existing exchange of sales and purchase orders. You can also add to existing documents if you decide to exchange new types of information.
You can map data between different formats like XML, EDIFACT, and flat files, using an XML standard, which has the support of the industry.

With the introduction of XMLport objects, Microsoft Navision provides a tool for improved document exchange. XMLports can be easily created for any documents you want to exchange, for example, a sales quote, a purchase order, a product catalogue, or a price list.
