Company Background

Refrigeration Engineering Ltd was Formed in 1952, as a privately owned New Zealand company, to cater for the steadily expanding meat freezing and processing industry.

Since then Refrigeration Engineering Limited has grown into a multi-company, multi-industry organisation with over 300 staff providing engineering skills and products around the world.

The original company, Refrigeration Engineering Co Limited was, and still is primarily involved in providing refrigeration systems and low temperature materials handling systems. In the early 70's a wholesale division was added to supply components to the industrial and commercial refrigeration market in New Zealand.

Refrigeration Engineering Ltd implemented Dynamics Navision in 2000 and has since rolled the solution out across its entire group.

Dynamics Navision has enabled us to streamline a number of our business processes from monthly financial reporting to our stock management and warehouse operations. We can now easily get an overview of our entire supply chain to see what our customer requirements are and we can met them in the most effective manner.

Navision has contributed positively to our bottom line and enabled us to manage high levels of growth within our organisation over the past five years. This growth includes the successful addition of an Australian wholesale division that operates on the same platform as the New Zealand wholesale division. This has enabled management to monitor all operations from one central point in real time.
