Michael Van Breugel - Director Projects

Michael is an Chartered Accountant who has spent the last 20 years in various financial roles both in New Zealand and Australia.
He has gained significant experience in a number of industries (Aluminium Manufacture / Telecommunications / Pharmaceuticals / Refrigeration) and across a number of disciplines (Import and Distribution / Manufacturing / Servicing / Contracting).
He has particularly strong accounting and computer skills in the manufacturing and contracting areas. His most recent financial role was in the position of Financial Controller for a commercial refrigeration company in Australia with a turnover of AUD100m employing over 250 staff across 10 branches.
For the past eight years he has contracted to a number of companies providing Dynamics NAV software support encompassing the following disciplines - Business Analysis & Design / Data Conversion / Project Management / Programming / Report Writing /Help Desk Support and Training. He has handled these functions for the Realcold Group of companies as they have progressively moved onto Dynamics NAV to the point in time where there are now approximately 170 active Dynamics NAV users across eight companies both in New Zealand and Australia.
He is certified in Dynamics NAV in the areas of Financials, Trade & Inventory, Service Management, Manufacturing, Relationship Management and the Development. This combined with his practical application knowledge has lead to him being asked to provide Dynamics NAV training courses on behalf of Microsoft New Zealand.
He prides himself on his work ethic, communication skills and his in-depth knowledge of Dynamics NAV combined with his accountancy skills allowing him to provide innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
Jeffrey Fletcher - Director Operations

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Auckland, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and certified Dynamics NAV Developer.
Jeffrey has over fifteen years of industry experience across a range of industries including Audit, Retail, Hospitality, Distribution, Software, FMCG, Auction and Finance.
Jeffrey’s career highlights include a London based position as International Finance Manager for a Customer Relationship Management Software company with over 250 staff. This role included strong involvement in a successful NASDAQ share listing that raised USD 60 Million in capital. Jeffrey’s most recent position was as the General Manager for ADLOS-IT. ADLOS-IT is a division within the Amalgamated Dairies Group and provides internal support services for over 250 network users and 170 Dynamics NAV users across New Zealand and Australia.
Jeffrey has worked with Dynamics NAV for the last eight years across a range of industries. This work has involved the project management and hands on involvement in multiple NAV implementations, system design, system development and system upgrades. Jeffrey considers his personal work ethic and communication skills combined with a thorough, methodical and practical approach to designing business systems as his personal strengths.
David Russell - Senior Consultant

Dave is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a Master of Commerce and Administration (MCA) degree with First Class Honours in Accountancy from Victoria University of Wellington. Dave has a number of years experience in professional services consulting and delivery.
Dave started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992 as a financial auditor, and his time with PwC over the following 8 years included 2 years in Sydney in a technical accounting role covering everything from analysis and opinion on complex accounting structures to risk management activities. From there Dave moved on to spend 2 years in London in PwC's Global Corporate Reporting Group, responsible for the oversight and quality assurance of reporting by PwC clients on a global basis under International Accounting Standards (IAS), particularly for securities listings and cross-border filings.
Returning to New Zealand after the millenium, Dave was employed for 6 months as a project manager by Ernst & Young for a successful proof of concept project using the then fledgling XBRL (Xtensible Business Reporting Language) specification, which included the use of Dynamics NAV (then “Navision”) as the back end financial system.
Dave spent the next 6 years as a senior application consultant on a number of implementations of Dynamics NAV with Ernst & Young, Fusion5 and Intergen. This covered the gambit of Dynamics NAV implementation activities including pre-sales, system scoping, configuration, implementation, project management, data conversion and analysis, systems integration, report design, systems testing and training (including end-user training and system documentation). Dave also established and managed helpdesk and support services for the Dynamics NAV customer base. As a result, Dave has had a wide exposure to a large number of Dynamics NAV implementations of all shapes and sizes throughout New Zealand .
From late 2006 to late 2007 Dave spent 12 months with the project management and business consultancy company Gemtech Solutions providing project and business change management, project quality assurance and general business consulting advice and training solutions, in particular to a number of large government departments.
Dave's strengths include his ability to deal with people at all levels of organisations, a strong customer service ethic, ability to explain and transfer understanding of complex concepts in “plain english” terms, attention to detail and bringing his practical experience to the table in understanding customers' business requirements and designing and delivering a system solution to meet customer expectations. Dave has an exceptionally professional attitude and work ethic. He is consistently driven to produce outputs and deliverables of the highest quality to stakeholders.
Claus Hamann - Senior Developer

Claus has over 7 years experience in the implementation and development of Dynamics NAV installations. He is a certified Dynamics NAV programmer / developer and is recognised as one of the most experienced and technically capable Dynamics NAV developers in New Zealand. As well as his extensive development skills, Claus is also certified in a number of application areas of Dynamics NAV and has a thorough and wide knowledge of the Dynamics NAV solution. Claus holds a Master of Science Degree from the Technical University of Denmark.
Claus’s skills extend from technical development through to all other phases of implementation projects from pre-sales through to requirements gathering, analysis and design, data conversion, configuration, testing and ongoing support. His technical skills also extend to SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services and the development of complex integration solutions between various systems.
During his time with the Dynamics NAV product he has worked for implementation partners such as Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young and Intergen across several countries including New Zealand, Denmark, Belgium and Maldives. He has significant experience in managing the development and deployment of large sites with large development requirements and the management and co-ordination of development teams, with a reputation for delivering robust, well-designed solutions. This stems from Claus’s rigorous attention to performing quality development and continuously maintaining high standards.
Customers for which Claus has performed development, implementation and upgrade services cover a wide range including government agencies and the meat processing, utilities, airline, services, distribution and telecommunications industries.
Sharon Towes - Consultant

As Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Sharon has served over two decades in accounting and management roles in the vehicle and information technology industries. During these tenures Sharon has used a range of accounting packages and has managed several successful migrations of information between systems.
Sharon has extensive experience in all aspects of small to medium business accounting. Over the last five years Sharon has strenghtened her skills in budget modeling and financial and KPI reporting. Recently she implemented a Microsoft PerformancePoint solution to publish non financial data to Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services.
As well as a Bachelor of Business, Sharon has passed several papers towards a post graduate Diploma in Information Systems in the software development and date management areas.
